When is it okay to travel after the laser treatment? I have a flight scheduled.
I have a trip scheduled for next month, and I keep debating whether to get the laser treatment before or after I get back.
Since I take a lot of photos when I travel, I do want my skin to look a bit clearer haha. I don't want to get it done too close to the date and then have to worry about my skin the whole time I'm on vacation.
Would it be okay to fly about a week after getting the laser treatment?
It isn't a long-haul flight, but since the cabin is so dry, I think my skin might feel tighter.
And I think I'll be spending more time outdoors than usual when I'm on vacation.
I am wondering if it would be okay if I wore a hat and applied sunscreen thoroughly, or if it would be more reassuring to postpone the trip altogether since it hasn't been long since I had laser treatment.
Since this is my first time getting a laser treatment, I don't know how quickly my skin will stabilize.
So I'm wondering if it might be a bit much to receive it for the first time right before a trip, haha.
Would it be better to receive it after returning from the trip this time and try to coordinate the schedule starting next time?
For those of you who have received laser treatment and traveled abroad or domestically, how many days before departure did you usually get it done?
I'm also curious whether about a week was enough, or if it would have been more comfortable to leave about two weeks of leeway.
I don't want to push myself too hard just because I want to take lots of photos, so please share your tips for scheduling if you have experience :)
