How much time should I leave between getting a laser treatment and a hair dye or perm?
I want to take care of my skin and I'm planning to dye my hair this month, so I'm worried because the schedules overlap haha.
I'm not sure if it's okay to get the laser treatment first and then go to the hair salon a few days later, or if it's better to get my hair dyed or permed first and then get the laser treatment after my skin has stabilized.
Even if the hair dye doesn't directly touch your skin, some might get on your hairline, and you also get exposed to hot air for a long time at the salon.
Could something like this be irritating right after getting a laser treatment?
I wanted to do both things within a week, but I think it might be more reassuring to leave a gap of at least a week instead of scheduling everything too tightly.
Also, some people may have slightly sensitive skin immediately after getting a perm or dyeing their hair, so I am wondering if it is okay to receive laser treatment in that state.
My skin isn't particularly sensitive, but on days when I'm not feeling well, it tends to sting more easily than usual.
So, rather than proceeding just because the schedule fits, I want to make a decision after checking my skin condition.
For those of you whose laser treatments and hair salon appointments frequently overlap, which one do you usually do first?
I am also curious how much distance between the two of you would have made you feel more at ease.
For those of you who, like me, cram your skincare and hair treatments into the same month, please let me know how you actually schedule them~
