How long should I avoid saunas or hot baths after laser treatment?
Now that it's getting cold, my favorite thing to do every weekend is take a long hot shower or go to the sauna, but if I get laser treatment, I'm wondering if I'll have to take a break from that for a few days haha.
I tend to take particularly long hot showers, so when I get out, my body temperature rises so much that even my face turns red.
I read that it is best to avoid activities that generate a lot of heat to the skin immediately after receiving laser treatment, so I naturally plan to avoid them on the same day.
However, I am wondering if I can take a bath as usual the next day or two days later.
Even if the skin looks fine on the surface after laser treatment, could it suddenly become redder in hot environments?
I don't plan on going to a sauna right after the procedure, but I would like to know if I can return to my normal life after a few days.
I am also wondering if keeping the body warm for a long time, like a half-body bath, can be thought of in a similar way, not just in a sauna.
I think it would be most comfortable to just get into the habit of taking short showers with lukewarm water while getting laser treatments.
For those of you who receive regular laser treatments, do you adjust your bath or sauna schedules during the week of your procedure?
I'm curious to hear your experience on whether you felt too uncomfortable after resting for a few days.
I think giving up hot showers would be harder than giving up my skin, haha. Please tell me some realistic skincare tips!
