I'm having a hard time because I used the wrong cosmetics. Please recommend a treatment or care method for soothing my sensitive skin.
Hello. I'm a woman in my mid-twenties, just starting out in the workforce and very interested in taking care of my appearance. My skin is usually thin and sensitive, so I'm usually cautious when switching out my basic skincare products. But after seeing such great reviews of a moisturizing cream on social media, I thought it would be fine, so I applied it generously and went to bed... but the next morning, I looked in the mirror and thought I'd fainted.
My whole face turned as red as a carrot, and my whole face was covered in bumps and bumps like millet. I have sensitive skin with a weak barrier like mine, so even if I find just one ingredient that doesn't work for me, I immediately react. I know that, but I still hate myself for applying it all over my face without testing it. ㅠㅠ
It's been three days now, and I can't even dream of wearing makeup. I've only been using mild lotion, but it doesn't show any signs of going down. Every time I wash my face, it stings and itches so much I'm going crazy. I'm planning to go to the dermatologist tomorrow, but I can't believe it's suddenly turned around like this. What treatments would be effective for sensitive skin? My friends recommend soothing treatments like LDM water drop lifting or cryotherapy, but I'm worried they might irritate my skin and make it worse.
Or, rather than getting a procedure, would the answer be to just get a prescription and use a pack at home and endure it? If you have any tips for first aid for sensitive skin at home, or if you know of any gentle soothing ampoules that have proven effective when I've had a breakout like this, I'd really appreciate your recommendations.
Because of the red flag, I'm embarrassed to go to work and I'm so stressed that I can't sleep. Like me. sensitive skin Experts, how do you overcome skin irritation?
