What is the best way to get rid of blackheads?

Even though I usually wash my face thoroughly, the blackheads around my nose are especially noticeable when I look in the mirror. Even with makeup on, they're still visible, which stresses me out. So, I've been researching ways to get rid of them lately. Are there any dermatological procedures that can help? I currently use cleansing oil to get rid of them, but if you know of any good home remedies, please share them!
