I am curious about reviews regarding darkened melasma and blemishes.

Ever since I took up hiking every weekend, no matter how much I slather on sunscreen, there is no way to stop the pigmentation around my cheekbones from getting darker. I neglected the faint, dark spots, and now even when I apply a thick layer of concealer, they show through with a grayish tint, making my complexion look very dull.

 

I feel like I absolutely can't go on like this, so I'm considering buying a 10-session laser toning package, but when I look through online communities, I see people saying that the stimulation actually made their skin darker, so I'm scared to just go ahead and start.
