Underarm hair removal pain... is it really that painful? ㅠㅠ

I have booked an appointment for underarm laser hair removal for the first time tomorrow, but I'm already nervous because I tend to be such a crybaby.

People around me say it's bearable, but others say it stings so much it makes you tear up. Do they just proceed without anesthetic cream?

They say it only takes 1 to 2 minutes, but I'm curious about the level of pain during that short time. Please share some honest reviews from those who have tried it!
