My skin suddenly feels dry and has lost its elasticity. Should I get an anti-aging treatment?
Lately, whenever I look in the mirror, I often feel like my skin looks overall lifeless compared to before. In the past, my skin would recover to some extent just by getting enough sleep, but now it seems like it shows on my face immediately if I go to bed even one night late or drink less water. My cheeks, in particular, feel a bit sunken, and my jawline isn't as defined as it used to be, so I get self-conscious whenever I take photos.
It feels like the marks on my nasolabial folds linger longer after I smile, and my eye area looks dry for no reason, making my fine lines stand out more. It's stressful every time I look in the mirror these days, haha. I used to think that just doing a lot of home care would fix it, but lately, even when I apply a generous amount of cream and use a face mask, I don't feel like it's improving dramatically.
So, I'm starting to wonder if I should look into anti-aging treatments. People around me recommend lifting procedures like Shurink, Ulthera, and Thermage, but there are so many types that I don't know which one to get. My skin isn't extremely saggy yet, but would it be okay to start lightly as a form of proactive care?
Has anyone else experienced a loss of skin elasticity like me and tried getting treatments? Please recommend any treatments or procedures you were satisfied with. I'm getting anxious that I need to start taking care of my skin before it's too late.
