To get rid of deep dark circles, which is better, fat redistribution or fillers?
Lately, the area under my eyes has sunken deeply and dark circles have extended down to my chin, so I hear people around me asking every day if I couldn't sleep last night.
I am deeply worried because even though I have tried deliberately increasing my sleep time and applying a generous amount of expensive eye cream every day, the tired shadows cast deep around my eyes show no signs of fading.
It is not just simple pigmentation; the fat under my eyes is bulging out, creating deep shadows underneath, so I am seriously considering dermatological treatment.
After doing some research, it seems that for this type of eye shape, many people get fillers injected to plump up the area under their eyes or undergo surgery to completely flatten and reposition the under-eye fat.
I am leaning toward filler treatments because I am afraid of anesthesia and the long recovery period for surgery, but I am scared of potential side effects because the skin around my eyes is thin.
To be honest, reading scary reviews from people who experienced fillers clumping together and causing the area under their eyes to become bumpy or bluish shows through really made me feel scared.
I would like to ask for honest advice from Maypure members who, like me, have safely received dermatological treatments for severe dark circles and hollow under-eyes, and whose appearance has brightened beyond recognition.
I would like to know in great detail how long the effects usually last after the injection procedure, and whether severe bruising or swelling immediately after the procedure interferes with daily life for a few days.
If the area around the eyes becomes clear and bright, the entire face will look much younger and more vibrant. Please share your wisdom on which dermatological approach is the most effective and safest with no side effects.
