Is there a way to quickly reduce bruising or swelling after the procedure?
After getting a dermatological procedure, I get startled every time I look in the mirror by my patchy bruises and swollen face. I got the treatment to look prettier, but for a few days, I was reluctant to even go outside. There’s a limit to how much I can cover it up with a mask, so I’ve become desperate for a way to make it go down quickly. Hospitals usually say that time is the best medicine, but who doesn't know that? I have to go to work right away, and if I have an important appointment, I get even more anxious. They say it’s important to apply cold compresses diligently for about 2-3 days immediately after the procedure to prevent the swelling from spreading, but then they also say you should switch to warm compresses after a few days to improve blood circulation and make the bruising go down faster. It seems really difficult to figure out the exact timing...
