I am wondering if melasma treatment is effective even for old melasma.
I used to have clear skin, so I didn't have any major concerns. However, a few years ago, one or two melasma spots started appearing on both of my cheekbones, and now they have reached a point where they cannot be completely covered even with makeup.
At first, I thought they were blemishes, so I consistently used only whitening cosmetics, but there wasn't much change. So I did some research and found that melasma requires a slightly different management approach, so recently I have become interested in melasma treatment.
Looking at the reviews, some people say their skin tone has become much clearer after melasma treatment, while others say that consistent care is required, so I am curious about what kind of results I can actually expect.
I am especially curious if my melasma can improve even if I start treatment now, as it has been there for quite a while. Does anyone have experience seeing if long-standing melasma fades with consistent treatment?
I would also like to know how many melasma treatment sessions are required to start seeing changes. I am curious if there is a difference after just one or two sessions, or if this is a long-term treatment plan.
I heard that I need to be more meticulous about sun protection while receiving melasma treatment, so I would also like to hear what was actually the most important aspect of your management.
Rather than advertisements, I am most curious about the experiences of those who have actually used the product. I would be very grateful if you could feel free to share both what you were satisfied with and what you found lacking!
