I'm planning to start melasma treatment, and I'm wondering if laser alone is sufficient.

I am very stressed these days because every time I look in the mirror, the freckles on my cheekbones seem to be getting darker.

At first, it was fine if I covered it with concealer, but now it shows through even with makeup, so I realized I need to take proper care of it.

So I am looking into melasma treatments, but there are so many different methods that I don't know which one to choose.

I see a lot of talk about lasers, and it seems many people are getting toning or other treatments along with them. I am curious how melasma treatment is usually started.

For those of you who have received melasma treatment, did you combine various treatments from the beginning? Or was satisfaction high even with just one procedure received consistently?

I am also curious if the skin temporarily becomes more sensitive when starting melasma treatment, and if there are any specific precautions I need to take in my daily life.

My skin isn't particularly sensitive, but since I work in a job where I'm exposed to a lot of UV rays, I'm a little worried about that aspect as well.

If anyone has experience treating melasma, please share how long it took to see results and any care methods you would like to recommend.
