My face always looks tired because of my enlarged pores and dull skin tone.
I am writing to inquire about my skin concerns because lately I have been frequently told that my face looks tired even though I get enough rest. Looking at the attached photo, the pores around my nose and cheeks are noticeable. While my nose has sebum and shine, my cheeks look dull and lifeless.
The skin tone does not appear evenly colored, the area around the nose is slightly red, and the area around the cheeks and cheekbones looks dull, giving an overall unrefined impression.
When I apply makeup, my skin looks brighter for a moment, but as time passes, sebum on my nose surfaces and the dullness on my cheeks resurfaces, making me look even more tired. Can uneven light reflection caused by enlarged pores and sebum make my skin tone appear darker?
In this case, I am wondering if I should also address pores and skin texture rather than just skin tone management. Rather than suddenly whitening my skin, I want it to look clear and even within my current skin tone.
