I am worried about keratosis pilaris on my arms and legs. Are there any effective dermatological treatments available?
The weather has been so hot lately that I'm wearing thinner clothes, and because of that, I've been paying a lot more attention to my skin concerns.
I am writing this to ask for advice.
Since the weather is hot, I find myself wearing short sleeves, tank tops, and shorts often, but the bumpy keratosis pilaris that has appeared particularly on the outer arms and thighs is causing me a lot of stress. I've had a slight case since I was young, but lately, as my skin has become drier and dark discoloration has set in, I feel self-conscious and withdrawn every time I wear short sleeves because I'm self-conscious about how others look.
I have tried using body scrubs at home and applying moisturizing cream specifically for keratosis pilaris thoroughly, but I felt that home care alone had its limits for the discoloration and bumps that had already settled in.
I am thinking of seeking help from a dermatologist before it is too late.
Iโve heard from people around me that their condition improved after receiving treatments like the Aladdin Peeling, Body Scaling, or Body Laser at Maypure. Has anyone else visited Maypure for keratosis pilaris or body pigmentation like me? Or any expert opinions would be great too...!! Iโm desperate~~
I would be very grateful if you could share any treatments or care schedules that were effective for smoothing out skin tone!
