My friends tell me my skin has improved, but I'm the only one still struggling with acne.

I recently had dinner with friends for the first time in a while, and naturally, the conversation turned to skincare. Everyone was talking about getting laser treatments, visiting dermatologists, and trying all sorts of other skincare routines, but I ended up talking about nothing but acne the entire time...

Among my friends, there was one whose skin used to be worse than mine, but now it has become incredibly clear, which made me really envious. When I asked how she managed it, she said she consistently visited a dermatologist and changed her lifestyle habits at home. Hearing that made me think that I should start taking proper care of my skin as well.

I have had acne since I was a student, and it continues to recur to this day. Especially on my chin and cheeks, it feels like it flares up again just as it seems to be clearing up. Just when I think my skin is getting better for a moment, it appears again... Since this keeps repeating, I don't even know why I get it anymore.

I try to take good care of my skin in my own way. I make an effort to drink plenty of water, wash my face thoroughly, and change my pillowcase often. I also try to use the gentlest skincare products possible, but my skin is improving much slower than I expected.

Sometimes I try following online reviews, but methods that worked well for others often make no difference for me, so I'm starting to wonder what to trust anymore haha.

Is there anyone here who, like me, suffered from acne for a very long time but has since improved significantly? I am curious whether your condition improved after starting dermatological treatment or if it changed due to lifestyle habits.

Rather than just blindly copying this and that, I plan to listen to the stories of those who have actually tried it and try them out one by one. I really hope to hear someone say my skin has improved just once haha. Please give me lots of advice!!
