Does acne treatment also work on cheek pores and skin texture?
I would like to inquire if acne treatment is effective for enlarged pores on the cheeks and rough skin texture. Previously, I was only concerned about the pores around my nose, but recently, the skin on my cheeks and butterfly zone also looks uneven and the pores seem enlarged. I don't have severe acne, but small blemishes keep popping up, and sometimes the area around where they have subsided feels bumpy.
I am stressed because when I apply makeup, the base settles into that area, making my pores and skin texture look even more prominent.
Can skin like this be managed through acne treatment?
I am wondering if acne treatment only manages current breakouts, or if it can also address skin texture roughened by sebum or dead skin cells. When receiving treatment, are there cases where soothing or texture management is more necessary for cheek pores than extraction? My skin tends to redden easily, so I would like to receive a consultation that minimizes scarring.
