I am planning to get nose sebum treatment for the first time, and I have some questions.
I have almost no experience receiving sebum or pore care at a dermatology clinic, so this is my first time asking for advice. Lately, I have noticed noticeable sebum on my nose and the sides, and when I look closely, my pores appear enlarged. I feel that managing this solely at home has its limits. Although I consistently cleanse and moisturize, my nose gets oily very quickly, and when sebum builds up, I feel an urge to squeeze it with my hands, so I end up touching it constantly.
I heard that touching it myself can enlarge pores or leave marks, so I would like to receive professional care. When I visit for the first time, will you check my skin condition and distinguish between areas that require extraction and those that do not need to be touched?
I am curious about the level of pain involved in nose sebum management, and whether redness or peeling might occur after the treatment. I also want to know if a single session is enough to achieve a clean look or if it needs to be repeated at regular intervals, and I would like recommendations for treatments that are less burdensome for beginners.
