For nose sebum and pores, which comes first: extraction or skincare?
I see a lot of sebum around my nose and my pores look enlarged, so I am looking into how to manage it. I am wondering whether I should get extractions first or focus on skin texture and sebum control first.
If sebum is clogging my pores, I think cleaning it up should be the priority, but since my skin is thin and tends to redden easily, I am worried that if I forcefully squeeze it out, I might end up being more self-conscious about my pores or marks.
Currently, small sebum plugs are visible all over my nose, and the sides of my nose look even more bumpy as the base settles when I apply makeup.
In such cases, will the management method vary depending on the sebum condition and pore shape?
I am also wondering if it is possible to distinguish between sebum that requires extraction and pores that are suitable for management via laser or skincare. Could we proceed step-by-step after assessing sebum levels, skin sensitivity, and dryness through a consultation? Rather than treating it aggressively in the short term, I would like to improve my skin steadily within a range that does not irritate it.
