My skin problems have gotten worse because of the heat.
Lately, the sunlight is so strong that it feels like my skin is burning even if I go out for just a short while during the day. I try my best to reapply sunscreen, but after spending some time outdoors, my whole face turns red and the heat sensation just won't go down. On top of that, as sweat mixes with oil, painful, pustular acne started popping up one by one on my chin and forehead, and now tiny bumps are spreading out as well.
Even when I try soothing masks because of the heat sensation on my skin, it only works temporarily. I'm afraid to even touch products specifically for acne because I'm worried they will irritate my skin further and make it redder.
I feel like I need to visit a dermatologist to get some treatment that quickly cools down my irritated skin and soothes breakouts without irritation. Do you happen to have any procedures you would recommend? I’d love to hear your experiences on how you manage severe skin heat and breakouts during the summer!
