Acne treatment costs vary more than I expected, so I don't know what criteria to use to compare them.

I recently started looking into dermatologists because of my acne, but I got even more confused while checking the prices lol.

Some places charge less than expected for a single treatment, while others seem to bundle multiple treatments together, so it was difficult to compare prices alone.

My acne isn't extremely severe all over my face. I have some red breakouts on my cheeks, and they tend to recur on my chin. On top of that, I still have a few red marks from the past.

So I'm looking into acne treatment, and I'm wondering if I need to consider managing the breakouts I'm currently experiencing and the scars separately.

I'm worried that if the management approach is different, the cost of acne treatment will naturally vary, so I'm wondering what specific questions I absolutely must ask during the initial consultation.

For those of you who have received acne treatment, did you plan for multiple sessions like a package from the start? Or did you try it once first and add more if your skin responded well?

I feel a bit hesitant about paying a large amount right from the start, so if possible, I’d like to check first to see if it suits my skin.

And I don't think expensive acne treatments are necessarily more effective; ultimately, I suppose care tailored to your current skin condition is what matters, right?

I am curious if anyone started with extractions or soothing treatments, and if the cost varied for those who combined treatments like lasers.

It would be great if it cleared up after just one or two visits, but realistically, if I have to go regularly, it would be okay to ask during the consultation how much I should expect on average per month, right?

For those of you who have received acne treatment for several months or more, how satisfied were you with the cost-effectiveness?

I'm also curious if you felt that getting proper treatment was the right decision, rather than buying various cosmetics and managing it on your own.
