Does it also manage acne treatment scars?

I have had acne since high school, and it is a concern that it still flares up occasionally even now that I am an adult. Although it has decreased significantly compared to the past, I still get inflammatory breakouts on my chin or cheeks a few times a month, and once they go away, red marks linger for quite a long time. I hate getting new acne, but I think it is even more stressful that the marks from the past remain on my face.

Until now, I haven't received any separate acne treatment and have only managed it at home using cosmetics. I used soothing products when my skin broke out, and then went back to my usual routine once it got better. However, it seems difficult to properly control my recurring acne with this method, so I plan to visit a hospital this time.

I am curious if acne treatment focuses on managing the current breakouts first. I would also like to know if existing red marks and skin texture can be managed simultaneously during the treatment. Since there seem to be various treatment methods such as extraction, medication, and lasers, I am also wondering if the choice is made based on my specific skin condition.

Above all, since this is my first time receiving acne treatment, I am worried about how consistently I need to attend. I would like to know if I see immediate improvement after just one or two sessions, or if I should expect it to take a few months. I am also curious to know what was discussed during the initial consultation for those who have actually received treatment.
