I would like to ask if it is possible to receive an anti-inflammatory injection separately for red, swollen acne.
I have acne-prone skin and am looking into treatments focused on management. I noticed that anti-inflammatory injections were listed separately in the acne information, which raised a question. Since the basic treatment package also includes the anti-inflammatory injection, I would like to ask if it is possible to receive the injection without any treatment.
I would like to know if I should visit the clinic immediately when a red, swollen, and painful pimple appears, or if it is better to wait until it has festered to some extent. I am also curious about how many days it usually takes for the condition to subside after an injection, and whether it reduces the likelihood of scarring.
I would like to ask if there are any side effects, such as skin pitting, from frequent injections, and if it is okay to receive multiple shots at once. Since I have to go to work on weekdays, would it be fine to get the injections after work and return to work the very next day?
