How are brown blemishes and red marks distinguished during a laser consultation?
I would like to know the order of the laser consultation when brown blemishes or red marks are present together. I understand that even if they look similar on the surface, management methods can vary depending on the cause or depth of the discoloration, so I would like to know how the skin condition is assessed first. When selecting the type of laser, including Pico Toning, are the type and location of the pigmentation, skin tone, and sensitivity checked together? Also, to what extent should I disclose my usual skincare products or past treatment history during the consultation?
Rather than scheduling multiple sessions from the start, would it be possible to adjust the subsequent plan after observing my skin's reaction following a single session? I would also like to be informed in advance about potential reactions such as redness, dryness, and peeling, as well as the recovery period and precautions regarding cleansing, makeup, exercise, and sun protection. I am also curious about how much buffer time I should allow if I have a schedule, and whether I should contact the clinic if I notice any changes after the procedure. Please also let me know if it is okay not to decide on the treatment immediately after just the consultation.
