I am considering treatment for melasma and blemishes that have spread across my entire face. I have tried laser toning a few times in the past, but I felt that although the pigmentation seemed to lighten, it would quickly reappear or darken. I learned that blemishes on the skin's surface and melasma deep within the dermis are different in nature and require different treatment methods. I would like to know if there is a combination laser procedure or treatment program that can effectively improve both types of pigmentation at once.
I have seen devices like PicoToning, Excel V, and PicoWay mentioned. For a skin type like mine, which has a mix of light melasma and blemishes with distinct boundaries, what combination of equipment or customized treatment method would be suitable? I would also like to know if receiving combination laser treatment is more advantageous for reducing the risk of side effects and enhancing treatment effectiveness compared to repeatedly using only a single laser.
