갱년기라니 마음도 중요하겠어요 내면적인 마음가짐요
This is my personal skincare routine, and it's completely different these days. Since going through menopause, my entire approach to skincare has changed. In the past, I was only concerned with the ingredients and functionality of cosmetics, but now, the first thing I notice is how comfortable my skin feels after applying a product.
Especially after menopause, my dryness has gotten so bad that I've been really careful about washing my face. If I just rubbed it like I used to, it'd immediately tighten and itch. So, I lather up a lot and gently wash my face. I don't rub it with a towel; I just press it dry. Then, I immediately apply a drop of oil and a generous amount of moisturizer to seal in the moisture. That's my secret.
I've also been paying more attention to my daily habits lately. I need to get enough sleep so my skin doesn't get damaged as much, and I make sure to drink plenty of water. At this age, I realize that while it's important to apply products to your skin, it's even more important to take care of it from the inside out. On days when my skin is particularly sensitive, I find it's better to just let it rest without applying too many products. If I get greedy and add too many steps, I'll definitely break out the next day. Haha.
So, these days, my conclusion is that simple, consistent care is better than complex treatments. My skin has changed a lot since menopause, but finding a method that suits my pace has brought me much more peace of mind.
I'm curious about how other people take care of their skin. If you have any good tips, please share them with us.
