Are there any side effects from laser acne treatment? ㅠㅠ

Red, hard, pustular breakouts keep constantly popping up along my jawline and around my mouth, and I'm seriously going crazy with stress.

It is festering deep inside, so it cannot be squeezed out, and even when it subsides, it always leaves a dark mark. Now, home care alone is no longer a solution. I am looking into lasers that supposedly destroy the sebaceous glands to dry up the seeds of breakouts, but I am a little scared because it involves applying heat to the face.

Are there any potential side effects of the acne treatment, such as hidden sebum exploding all at once after the laser treatment, causing my skin to break out even more for a few days or become extremely sensitive? I've also heard that it can lead to severe dryness, so I'm worried if I can tolerate it by slathering on moisturizer.

I'm afraid that trying to dry out my sebaceous glands might damage my normal skin barrier, so I'm looking forward to advice from those who have safely received acne treatments and achieved smooth skin.
