If I get 5 laser hair removal sessions, will absolutely no hair grow back? ㅠㅠ

I'm looking into underarm and calf hair removal so I can wear a swimsuit with peace of mind during my upcoming summer vacation! I shave with a razor at home every time, but it looks so unsightly with stubble like pencil lead embedded in the skin. I've noticed that many people usually sign up for a 5-session package at a dermatology clinic; if I get the full 5 sessions, will my skin really become smooth enough that I won't need to use a razor at all? I'm really curious to hear firsthand reviews from those of you who have already experienced hair removal!
