Is the advantage of acne treatment that you can see your skin condition more accurately than when managing it on your own? Haha.

I think I spent quite a lot of money changing my cosmetics lol

I used to go in a cycle like this: buying a soothing product when breakouts appeared, another product when I was worried about sebum, and adding a moisturizer when my skin became dry.

But the problem is that I don't know if I properly understand my skin condition or if I am managing it correctly.

Even if skin troubles look similar on the surface, the causes could be different, and the skincare I did thinking it was good could actually be irritating.

So these days, I'm thinking it might be better to get acne treatment.

The advantage of acne treatment that I look forward to is not necessarily seeing my skin improve quickly, but being able to determine the direction of what kind of care is currently needed.

When I do it on my own, I tend to change my cleanser and add new products at the slightest sign of deterioration. Would having my skin checked by a professional help reduce this kind of trial and error?

For example, it could be that you were exfoliating too often, not moisturizing enough, or applying too many different products.

When I start acne treatment this time, I want to not only receive dermatological care but also organize my home habits.

That way, I think I'll be able to maintain it to some extent even if I extend the maintenance interval later.

Another advantage of acne treatment that I think of is that you don't have to frantically react on your own every time your skin condition worsens.
