Need to care for chin trouble and acne during the change of seasons?

I am worried because breakouts on my chin keep spreading as the seasons change. Just when one clears up, another painful one pops up right next to it, and this cycle repeats, causing me immense stress every time I look in the mirror. I have a habit of resting my chin on my hand while working, and I suspect the cause is that my skin has become even drier since the office started using heaters recently.

I am looking into a consultation for acne treatment at a dermatology clinic, and I am writing this post because I have a few questions before I go!

First of all, I'm curious if many people in their late 30s, like me, go for acne or skin trouble care. I've heard that the causes and approaches for teenage acne and adult chin acne are a bit different.

I am planning to visit on weekdays after work or during my lunch break. Approximately how long does one session of acne treatment or extraction/scaling take? I would also like to know if facial redness or marks will be very noticeable when I return to the office immediately after the treatment.

I would appreciate it if you could share how often treatment or care is typically scheduled and how many sessions are needed for chin breakouts to subside noticeably, as well as any helpful home care tips to incorporate into your cleansing and moisturizing routines!
