Is using too many products a problem? I'm considering drastically cutting down on my skincare routine.

If you look at my vanity, I have so many products that I can't understand why I worry about my skin lol. I apply everything from soothing serums and moisturizing serums to exfoliating products, ampoules, and creams, depending on my skin condition each day.
At first, I thought I was managing it diligently, but lately I’ve started to wonder if I’m actually using it too much.
When breakouts occur, I get anxious so I add another product, and when my skin gets dry, I apply a different one on top, so in the end, I don't even know what works well for me anymore.
So, before I start my acne skincare routine, I’m thinking of minimizing my basic skincare products.
After washing your face, just apply the necessary amount of moisturizer and take a break from new functional products for a while.
Do people receiving acne treatment often organize their home care products at the beginning?
I'm not saying I'm going to throw away everything I have, haha. For now, I just want to reduce the number I use and see how my skin reacts.
Especially when using multiple products layered together, it seems really difficult to identify which one is the one that doesn't fit.
Would it be okay if I took photos of the products I am currently using or showed you a list during the acne skincare consultation?
Are there any others like me who tried using this and that to improve their skin, only to end up with a routine that's too complicated?
Weren't you anxious at first when you simplified your basic skincare routine? I'm also curious how long you observed the results before adding products back.
This time, I'm going to try practicing applying really less.
