I guess I should start by fixing the habit of constantly touching my skin whenever breakouts appear lol.

I'm the type of person whose hands reach for my skin first when it starts to look bad, haha. Even though I know I should just leave it alone, if I look in the mirror and it bothers me, I keep touching it and checking its condition.
So, even if I get acne treatments, I feel like it won't be effective if I keep touching it at home, so lately I've been deliberately trying not to touch it.
But this is actually much harder than I thought. If I feel even a tiny bump, I 괜히 want to check if it's ripe, and if it just feels like it's sticking out a little, I keep touching it.
Do those of you who have received acne treatment also mention these habits during the consultation?
I think the lingering marks left after touching something are more stressful for me than the breakout itself. There have been many times when things got worse because I unnecessarily poked at them, when they might have passed quickly if I had just left them alone.
So this time, when I start taking care of my skin, I'm thinking of starting by reducing the number of times I look in the mirror haha.
I've seen people put on patches to avoid touching it, but I'm not sure if that's the right approach for every situation.
Ultimately, it seems that the habit of not touching the skin at home is just as important for acne care as getting treatments at a clinic. Has anyone actually seen their skin feel better after fixing this?
For those of you who had a bad habit of stealing like me, please give me some tips on how you fixed it. I really want to hold back this time.
