Is there any way to manage acne at home that hardens deep within the skin?

As the weather has gotten colder lately, my skin has suddenly started breaking out. I had been fine for a while without any breakouts, but recently, one or two pimples have started popping up around my chin and cheeks.

Among them, what worries me the most is the acne that feels hard deep inside the skin.

It doesn't come up as white bumps like typical acne; it's just slightly red on the surface, but when I touch it, I can feel something round and hard inside.

I thought it would naturally subside after a few days, but I'm worried because it feels like it's actually getting bigger little by little.

Usually, when I get acne, I tend to manage it using extraction tools I have at home, but with this type, no matter how much I looked, there didn't seem to be a part I could squeeze. I'm not touching it for now because I'm worried that if I mess with it, the inflammation might get worse or leave a scar.

I've considered going to a dermatologist to get an anti-inflammatory injection or treatment, but the cost is a bit of a burden to visit just for one or two pimples.

By any chance, is the management method for these hard, deep-seated pimples different from that of typical comedones?

I am wondering if using soothing products or acne patches at home helps, or if it is better to wait without irritating the skin.

Especially if it is gradually growing larger, how long should I wait before seeing a dermatologist?

Is there anyone else like me who frequently gets hard, hard-to-squeeze pimples during the change of seasons?

Please share your experience regarding how you actually managed it and how long it took for it to subside naturally.

The acne I just got is getting more noticeable over time, so it's really bothering me. Please share any tips on how to manage it without scarring!
