I can't tell if it's a pore on my cheek or an acne scar.
The skin on both of my cheeks has always been on the uneven side, but lately, the sunken areas have been particularly noticeable. In particular, there are many deep, pit-like depressions extending from the sides of my nose down to below my cheekbones. I'm not sure if my pores have simply enlarged or if old acne marks have turned into scars. Even when I apply makeup, the unevenness actually becomes more pronounced, and under lighting, my skin looks quite messy.
Is it difficult to improve these cheek pore scars with general pore care alone? I found various treatments like Fraxel, Potenza, and Subcision in my search results, and I am curious about which cases are suitable for each. I would also like to know if the treatment method varies depending on the shape and depth of the scar.
I am also wondering if multiple procedures need to be performed in combination when there is a mix of enlarged pores and pitted scars. Since it seems difficult to expect improvement with just one or two sessions, I would like to ask the clinic staff about the typical treatment duration and number of sessions, as well as how long the recovery period and redness are required after the procedure.

- 01CommentsSince your cheeks feel tight while breakouts are appearing on your chin and around your mouth, I imagine you are wondering whether to prioritize exfoliation or soothing. I also tend to experience both dryness and acne in the winter, so I was curious about how often to schedule exfoliation treatments like Aqua Peel to minimize the burden. It would also be helpful if you could mention during the consultation that the areas exposed to heating are different from the areas with breakouts.220026.11.07

As I also have acne-prone skin, I was wondering if it is possible to receive blackhead and acne treatments on the same day. I would appreciate it if you could provide answers regarding irritation and downtime for sensitive areas like the nose, so I can take them into consideration.240026.11.06
