My skin feels sensitive after switching hair products. Could this be related?
I recently switched my shampoo and hair essence at the same time, and since my skin condition also worsened around the same time, I'm a little concerned.
Of course, it could simply be that the timing overlapped, haha. The weather changed suddenly, and I was also short on sleep. However, since lather or products can come into contact with the skin when washing my hair, I wonder if I should check these kinds of household items during an acne skincare consultation.
I usually thought hair products were separate from skincare, haha. So I didn't pay any attention to things like ingredients and just chose based on the scent and texture.
Lately, when I wash my hair, I try to rinse it as thoroughly as possible to ensure no residue remains on my skin. Is this enough?
When you go for acne treatment, are there cases where they ask about frequently used items like shampoo or styling products, in addition to cosmetics?
I feel that unnecessarily replacing every single product might actually make it harder to identify the cause, so I plan to observe the situation without adding any new products for the time being.
I'm the type of person who wants to change everything immediately if my skin is bad, haha, so this time I'm planning to take a calm approach and look at things one by one.
Has anyone similarly felt a difference in their skin condition after changing hair or laundry products?
I am curious to hear the experiences of those who have also examined their living environment while starting acne care. Please let me know if you found the cause in surprisingly minor details.
